WORLD BOOK COPYRIGHT DAY 2026

 The School Library organized a Slogan Writing Activity on the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day to promote reading habits and create awareness among students about the importance of books and copyright laws.

Students enthusiastically participated in the activity and expressed their thoughts creatively through meaningful and inspiring slogans. The activity encouraged students to appreciate books as valuable sources of knowledge while also understanding the significance of respecting authors' intellectual property rights.

The slogans reflected students' creativity, awareness, and appreciation for literature. The activity was successful in fostering a reading culture and spreading awareness about the importance of copyright protection.










BOOK GENRES ACTIVITY FICTION VS NON FICTION

 The School Library organized a "Fiction vs Non-Fiction Book Genres" activity to help students understand the differences between fictional and non-fictional literature and to familiarize them with various book genres available in the library.

During the activity, students explored a variety of books and classified them as fiction or non-fiction based on their content, purpose, and characteristics. They also identified different genres such as mystery, fantasy, biography, science, history, adventure, and informational texts. Interactive discussions and group activities encouraged active participation and enhanced students' understanding of literary genres.
The activity was conducted successfully, with enthusiastic participation from students. It enriched their knowledge of books and promoted informed reading choices.







READERS CLUB SCAVENGER HUNT ACTIVITY/FICTION VS NON-FICTION

 The School Library organized a Library Scavenger Hunt Activity for Readers Club to familiarize students with various sections, resources, and services available in the library. The activity aimed to develop students' library orientation skills and encourage independent use of library resources.

Students were provided with worksheets containing clues and tasks related to locating books, identifying authors, finding call numbers, and exploring different sections of the library. Participants enthusiastically searched for the required information and successfully completed the tasks within the stipulated time.

The activity created an engaging learning environment and helped students become more confident in navigating the library independently. It also promoted teamwork, observation skills, and information-seeking abilities.

Boggle Board Activity for Class 3-5

The School Library organized a Boggle Board Activity to enhance students' vocabulary, spelling skills, and critical thinking abilities. Students were provided with a letter grid and were encouraged to form as many meaningful words as possible within the given time limit.

The activity generated great enthusiasm among the students. Participants actively searched for words, improved their language skills, and learned new vocabulary in an enjoyable manner. The activity also promoted healthy competition, teamwork, and quick thinking.
