Report on Career Development Counseling Session by ICMAI
A Career Development Counseling Session was organized in our school on 10-11-2025 for the Class XI& XII Commerce students under the guidance of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). The session aimed to create awareness among students about various career opportunities available in the field of commerce and to help them make informed academic and professional choices.
The resource person Mrs Vidhu from ICMAI interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into the role of cost and management accountants in business and industry. She explained the structure of the ICMAI course, eligibility criteria, and the future scope of pursuing a career in finance, management, and accounting sectors. The session also highlighted the importance of developing analytical skills, time management, and ethical practices in the corporate world.
Students actively participated by asking questions about career paths, higher education options, and job prospects after completing commerce studies. The counselors appreciated the curiosity and enthusiasm of the students and encouraged them to set clear goals for their future.
Overall, the session proved to be highly informative and motivating, providing students with a better understanding of the commerce field and guiding them toward future career planning. The school extends heartfelt thanks to the ICMAI team for conducting such an enriching and interactive session.
